A status yellow fog warning will remain in place for 14 counties until eleven o'clock this morning.
The counties under the alert are Kildare, Carlow, Dublin, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wicklow, Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon.
