Four people were taken to hospital following a serious two-car collision on the R406 at Barberstown, Straffan, yesterday afternoon.
Four people have been taken to hospital following a serious road traffic collision in Straffan, Kildare.
The collision involving two cars happened on the R406 at Barberstown at approximately 2.15pm yesterday.
Three people travelling in one of the cars were hospitalised.
A man and women, both in their late teens, were taken to Tallaght University Hospital, while the male driver, aged in his 20s, was taken to Connolly Hospital.
The driver of the second car, a woman in her 50s, was also taken to Tallaght University Hospital.
Gardaí say an investigation is ongoing and are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone who was in the Barberstown area between 2pm and 2.30pm and may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
