Naas Roads Policing Unit have confirmed two motorists were arrested recently in North Kildare for driving under the influence of cocaine.
It follows are checkpoint that was carried out in the area.
Meanwhile, at the same checkpoint, another two learner drivers had their vehicles seized after they were found driving unaccompanied.
Gardai say proceedings are to follow.
