The culprits were arrested after they were involved in a collision.
Gardaí are investigating after a woman in Naas woke to find a man in her bedroom.
The incident happened at around 2am on November 6th in the Monread Court Estate.
It’s understood the man, acting with an accomplice, stole a MacBook and searched kitchen cupboards before leaving.
The laptop was later recovered.
A short time later, at around 3.45am, a van was broken into in the Brookland Estate in Clane, with over €600 worth of tools taken.
About 15 minutes after that, two men were arrested in Toolestown, near Maynooth, following a road traffic collision.
A number of items, including some of the stolen tools, were recovered.
Investigations are continuing.
