Among those taking part are the Fire Service, Gardaí, the National Ambulance Service, the Coast Guard, Defence Forces, Civil Defence, Red Cross and many more frontline organisations.
It will be a very active day in Naas today with two major community celebrations taking place.
The town will host National Services Day – a tribute to Ireland’s emergency and security services.
A parade leaves Naas Racecourse at 1pm, arriving at Áras Chill Dara around 1.30pm, where a static display will run until 5pm. Families can meet crews, explore emergency vehicles and watch live demonstrations.
At the same time, Áras Chill Dara will also stage National Play Day 2025. From midday to 5pm, families can enjoy more than 30 activities, live stage acts and inclusive events – all completely free, including parking.
