Gardaí are expecting a coroner's report from the inquest in the coming weeks.
The Garda Commissioner has ordered investigators to re-visit files about the Stardust fire.
Last week, the jury in an inquest found all 48 young people who died in the fire were unlawfully killed.
Gardaí are expecting a coroner's report from the inquest in the coming weeks.
Commissioner Drew Harris says officers are going over both investigation files:
Meanwhile, speaking on Kildare Today, Antoinette Keegan, who survived the disaster but lost two sisters, believes the tragedy of Stardust and the families long fight for justice should be taught in schools.
“This is part of our history. It was the biggest disaster in the history of the State and it would educate children that if they go into a nightclub and they see a door locked or they see anything that is wrong, they have to report it - so, that we never, ever have another Stardust resulting in 48 deaths.”
She said the families only ever wanted truth and justice.
