Gardai in the Kildare and Carlow divisions have reported 12 arrests for drink and drug driving offences over the past seven days.
In addition to these arrests, 54 vehicles were seized for a variety of offences.
They included failure to pay motor tax; driving without insurance; disqualified drivers operating vehicles; and unaccompanied learner drivers
