Gardai are investigating a theft that happened on Wednesday the 29th of April at approximately 4.30pm.
The theft occurred at Halfords shop in Newhall Retail Park, Naas
A man had asked the shop keeper to change a number of old €50 notes.
He then distracted the staff member and took €650, while the cash was being counted.
The man is described as being 5foot 6inches and of slim build.
He is said to be of tanned complexion, with black hair and a mustache, as well as wearing a white shirt at the time of the incident.
Gardaí in Naas are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
