Gardaí Appeal For Information Following Maynooth Shop Theft

The incident happened at Sports Direct in Carton Retail Park at around 5.50pm on Wednesday, August 5th.

Gardaí are appealing for information after a theft at sports retailer earlier this month.

The incident happened at Sports Direct in Carton Retail Park at around 5.50pm on Wednesday, August 5th.

Gardaí say five women entered the store, removed security tags from a number of clothing items and left with a significant quantity of merchandise before driving away in what is believed to have been a silver Ford Focus estate with a 12-D registration.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
