A driver has been arrested by Naas Roads Unit.
Gardai encountered the vehicle in Naas last night.
The car was being driven without lights when it was stopped.
It then transpired that the motorist has no driving licence and was without insurance.
The driver then failed a roadside drugs test, which returned indications for cocaine.
They were detained, and the vehicle impounded.
Gardai say proceedings are to follow.
Naas Gardaí came upon vehicle being driven in Naas last night with no lights on. When stopped Gardaí discovered motorist had no driving licence, no insurance and failed a roadside drugs test for cocaine. Motorist arrested and vehicle impounded.
