Gardaí investigating the discovery of a man's body in the Grand Canal at Coolscuddan near Newcastle last Saturday morning have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who was in the area, particularly those walking or cycling along the Grand Canal between the 12th Lock at Lucan and Hazelhatch Bridge, between Thursday the 6th of March and Saturday the 8th of March to come forward.
