Glenn Ryan is to be the new Kildare senior football manager.
His proposed appointment was confirmed last night.
He held off the challenge of Tim Cribbin & Davy Burke for the position.
His back room team is former Kildare stars Anthony Rainbow, Dermot Earley & Johnny Doyle.
Ryan's appointment will be ratified at the next special county committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday 19th October.
