Gold Bars And Cash Recovered At Rathangan Home Seized By CAB

According to a court appointed Quantity Survey, the cost of renovating the home after it was purchased in 2014 would haven been in the region of €64,364 plus VAT.

This is the house seized in Rathangan by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB).

During their search, CAB seized gold bars worth €5,600.

Over €10,150 cash was also seized.

According to a court appointed Quantity Survey, the cost of renovating the home after it was purchased in 2014 would haven been in the region of €64,364 plus VAT.

Money used to renovate the property is determined to have derived from criminal conduct.

Adam Keatinge, a showbiz drug dealer with alleged ties to the Kinahan cartel, is understood to have owned the home.

The Criminal Assets Bureau (Cab) is investigating 69 targets across Kildare.
