Government Moves To Let Gardaí Alert Schools After Domestic Violence Incidents

It's aim is to ensure a child’s school will be informed if a domestic violence incident has occurred in the home of the child so there can be extra support made available.

The Government's approved the drafting of legislation to allow for the sharing of information between Gardai and schools to help children affected by violence in their home.
