Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in either area on Saturday and noticed suspicious activity to come forward.
Gardaí are investigating two separate burglaries reported just hours apart in north Kildare on Saturday, 6th December.
In Kilcock, a home in Bawnogue Park was entered between midday and 2pm.
Two laptops were taken from the sitting room.
Gardaí say several deliveries were taking place in the estate around that time and are urging anyone who may have seen anything unusual - or who has dash-cam footage from the area - to contact Leixlip Garda Station.
Later that evening, between 5pm and 8pm, a second burglary was reported in Kilnamoragh, Donadea.
The family returned to find a rear window smashed and the house ransacked.
A quantity of jewellery was taken.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in either area on Saturday and noticed suspicious activity to come forward.
