Similar problems were experienced by people in Mullen Park, Maynooth.
Householders in a new estate in Leixlip have been waiting months for water connections.
The problems in Barnhall Meadows in the town are similar to the 4 to 6 month connection delays experience by people living in Mullen Park in Maynooth.
Connection problems there are resolved.
Kildare North Sinn Féin TD, Réada Cronin, has been liaising with residents of both estates.
Speaking to Kildare Today, she many people in Barnhall Meadows bought their homes in 2020, and not being able to move in is creating enormous problems.
Deputy Cronin joined Ciara Noble on Thursday's edition of the programme
I'll be on @kfmradio this morning regarding delays in Irish Water connections in a new housing estate in Barnhall, Leixlip. We had a similar delay in Mullen Park, Maynooth only a few months ago. Delays like these in a housing crisis is madness!
