Gardai have carried out a number of searches in relation to a house fire which killed a young boy and woman in Co Offaly.
Three homes in Kildare and Offaly were searched this morning by officers from the Serious Crime Unit alongside other specialist teams and local gardaí.
The search operation come as the funeral of four-year-old Tadgh Farrell takes place later this morning.
His grand aunt, 60-year old Mary Holt also died after a fire was started at a house in the Castleview Park estate in Edenderry on Saturday night.
An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to any person with any information on this violent fatal incident to speak with investigating Gardaí.
