Annual Pieta charity walks held in Athy, Monasterevin and Naas
Thousands of people across Ireland have been up early this morning to take part in the Darkness into Light events to help raise funds for charity Pieta.
There were 4.15 starts for the official walks at the Naas Racecourse, Athy College and Father Prendergast Park in Monasterevin
The event, which first began in 2009, helps to raise awareness on suicide, self harm and depression.
There's now over 200 official walks across 15 countries and 5 continents.
