A Newbridge woman has been left paralysed from the chest down following a devastating car crash in Wicklow.
25-year-old Kaythlyn Smith was a passenger in a car that plunged 20 feet off a bridge outside Hollywood in July.
She survived, but suffered a severe spinal injury and now has no movement in her fingers.

Before the accident, Kaythlyn worked as a beautician on cruise ships, travelling the world.
Now she is confined to a wheelchair and undergoing intensive rehabilitation.
Her family is facing further hardship as her mother battles stage three aggressive breast cancer.
Despite the challenges, Kaythlyn says she is determined not to give up hope.
She has launched a Go Fund Me page to raise money for specialist treatment abroad in the hope of regaining her independence.
