Locals are invited to attend a walk-in community consultation today
Input from locals is being sought by Coillte on the future vision for Donadea Forest Park.
Locals are invited to attend a walk-in community consultation event this evening (Wednesday) between 4pm and 7.30pm in the Old School Hall in Staplestown.
Visitor numbers to the park have increased significantly over the last number of years, with over 200,000 visitors last year alone.
Coillte says it is undertaking a strategic design plan for Donadea Forest Park and today's consultation event is one of the first steps in hearing from the public on improvements they would like to see.
Daithi de Forge, Head of Recreation with Coillte says the suggestions can be wide-ranging.
