The incident took place on Friday evening, 3rd February
Gardaí have launched an investigation following a burglary in Kilteel.
The incident happened on Friday 3rd of February between the hours of 5.30pm and 6.50pm.
The injured party returned home and realised that a window at the back of the house was open.
The culprits ransacked a bedroom in the house and jewellery was taken.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area or who has any information to come forward.
