Parents are being urged to have open conversations with their teenagers about sending explicit images.
Investigations are continuing after three teenage boys were targeted in an online blackmail scam.
The boys were tricked into sending explicit photos to people who asked them to be a friend on social media.
They were then told the images would be sent to their families and friends, if they didn't hand over cash.
Up to €8,000 was demanded in one case.
Parents are being urged to have open conversations with their teenagers about sending explicit images.
