It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Investigations are continuing to in an incident of violent disorder in Kildare Town, involving golf clubs, hurleys and knives.
Two groups, one of around a dozen people from Newbridge, and a second group from Kildare Town, clashed outside the entrance to Dunmurray Rise at 2am on Sunday morning.
Three people were injured - one man in his twenties was stabbed in chest, while men aged 19 and 21 sustained slash wounds.
