Some priests named by The Jesuit Order who have been the subject of child sexual abuse complaints taught at prominent schools in Kildare.
Eight of the 15 priests named were already the subject of complaint during their lifetimes.
The other seven first became the subject of complaint after their deaths.
Complaints were made against Fr Finbarr Lynch who taught at Clongowes Wood College in Kildare.
He died before a trial could take place.
Details of the names were released following an examination of files of deceased Jesuits by an Independent Working Group, which was established by the Jesuits in Ireland last year.
The independent group was convened following the publication of accounts concerning child sexual abuse and other serious misconduct by priest Joseph Marmion.
Marmion abused boys at a number of locations, including Clongowes Wood College.
Marmion was allowed to work as chaplain at St Vincent’s Private Hospital until his death in 2000.
