Councillor says KCC should focus on Kilcullen, Monasterevin and Rathangan.
An employment taskforce is needed for Kildare's smaller towns.
That's according to Fine Gael Cllr., Tracey O'Dwyer, of the Kildare Newbridge Municipal District.
She says Kildare County Council, via the Local Enterprise Office, should establish a taskforce to identify and actively pursue employment opportunities for areas such as Kilcullen, Monasterevin and Rathangan
She says these towns must now become a place to commute from.
Her motion will come up for debate at the June meeting of the MD, on Wednesday.
