Cllr. suggests that the route requires assessment because of the number of new homes built there.
Kildare County Council says it cannot review the layout of the road between the M4 and Intel, because of "limited resources".
It was asked to do so in light of the number of new homes built on the road in recent years, and an increase in traffic to the Intel campus.
The matter was raised by Fine Gael Cllr., Joe Neville, who suggested that the possibility of bridge construction, and additional access points, form part of the review.
He says that at least now, the matter is on the agenda.
Cllr. Neville joined Clem Ryan on Tuesday's edition of Kildare Today to discuss all of his motions before the June meeting of the Celbridge/Leixlip Municipal District.
