Kildare County Council is seeking expressions of interest from guest accommodation owners to provide emergency accommodation in 7 towns.
KCC says the accommodation will be for homeless families and individuals.
As such, both family and single rooms are needed, and proprietors will need to provide catering and laundry facilities.
The council has it is forming a panel of providers for "Winter 2021/2022"
The deadline for expressions of interest to homelessadmin@kildarecoco.ie is November 5th.
Kildare County Council will:
• Nominate clients as required
• Pay agreed fee
Accommodation may be required in the following areas primarily:
• Celbridge
• Leixlip
• Maynooth
• Naas
• Newbridge
• Kildare Town
• Athy
