KCC: Some Roads In Naas Town Centre Will Close For Parts Of September.

Its to facilitate water & wastewater connection works.

A selection of roads in Naas will be closed for parts of September.

Kildare County Council says Moat Lane and Town Hall Lane Naas will shut on September 14th, to facilitate water & wastewater connection works

They aren't scheduled to re-open until September 27th

Alternative Route: Vehicles wanting to travel eastbound on Moat Lane will be diverted south along Abbey Street (L-2996) and then directed to turn left onto Basin Street (L-2997). Vehicles will be directed to turn left again onto North Main Street (R-445) reaching the end of the diversion. Vehicles wanting to travel westbound on Town Hall Lane will be diverted south along North Main Street (R-445) and then directed to turn right onto Basin Street (L-2997). Vehicles will be directed to turn right again onto Abbey Street (L-2996) reaching the end of the diversion.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted.

Kildare County Council says "Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation & Public Safety, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas or by e-mail to roadssubmissions@kildarecoco.ie on or before 5.00PM on Monday, 23 August 2021"
