Its because of an ESB outage affecting the pumping station.
There will be a day-long water supply disruption in the Cross Chapel area today.
Kildare County Council says there will be an ESB outage, which will affect the pumping station.
The area between Cross Chapel and Red Bog will be affected.
The outage will begin at 9am, and is due to conclude at 5pm.
It could take up to three hours, after that, for the system to refill and for normal supply resume.
