The site was once among the most controversial dumps in the country.
Kerdiffstown park is expected to open at the end of October.
The Kerdiffstown Landfill Remediation Project commenced in November 2020, with a contract date for completion of construction originally set for April 2025.
However, local Cllrs were told at the Naas Municipal district meeting yesterday that it should be open at the end of this month, well ahead of schedule.
The new public park will include 3 full-size all-weather pitches, a playground, paths and walking trails.

It has cost more than €61.5 million in public money to remediate.
