The trial, initially set for this Wednesday, is now scheduled for June 4 due to the complexity of the case.
The trial for Joseph Doyle, a member of An Garda Síochána facing 111 corruption and money laundering charges, has been delayed for four months.
Doyle, 38, of Kilcock, is charged with the offences under the Criminal Justice (Corruption) Act 2018.
According to the Irish Mirror, the charges include alleged inducements for fictitious brake tests or charity donations between 2018 and 2021.
