Fianna Fáil Cllr., Bernard Caldwell, wants the surveillance cameras installed in "select areas" in St. Catherine's Park.
The amenity falls under the auspices of three local authorities: KCC and Fingal County Council.
The councillor says its" in an effort to encourage people to clean up after their dogs."
His motion will be debated at the June meeting of the Celbridge/Leixlip Municipal District.
