A Kildare company is reported to have sent components to a facility that makes parts for the F-35 and F-16 fighter jets for the Israel Defence Forces.
That's according to documents seen by Kfm that were provided to us by investigative website The Ditch.
Powell Electronics, which has a facility in Clane, sent two shipments of components to the Elbit Systems Cyclone plant in Karmiel, Israel in October and November 2024, according to Editor of The Ditch Eoghan McNeill.
The facility makes parts for the F-35 and F-16 fighter jets.
Elbit Systems supplies up to 85 percent of the IDF’s land-based military equipment and drones.
It signed a $275 million deal with the Israeli government in January this year to supply weapons to the IDF.
Kfm has contacted Powell Electronics in Clane for comment.
