The contract includes communications network which supports the cameras.
Kildare County Council is seeking a contractor to manage all 120 of its traffic managment cameras.
It has issued a tender for the job.
It says "there are 3 main categories of camera and various types of cameras within those categories, and these are connected to the Traffic Management Centre (TMC) in Naas via via a wireless radio communications network. "
The contract has two pillars - the maintenance of the CCTV cameras, and the communications network which supports them.
