Leading supermarkets have dropped the price of milk by 10 cent.
Dairy farmers in Kildare and the rest of the country cannot sustain price cuts implemented by leading supermarkets who have dropped the price of milk by 10 cent.
The warning comes from a rural independent TD who said farmers are already being financially squeezed.
Independent TD Michael Fitzmaurice said supermarkets should absorb the price cut.
