Gardaí are advising the public to 'Park Smart' & secure vehicles
Gardaí are appealing information following the thefts of car and a scooter in Kildare.
The first theft happened on Thursday 28th September at approximately 3pm at Costa Coffe in Naas.
The man left his black electric scooter in outdoor seating area while in the queue. In the meantime, a 142 D Citreon pulled up and a male exited the vehicle took the scooter and placed it in the boot and then drove away.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses who may have seen this occurring and possibly have more information on the registration of the vehicle.
Seperately on Monday 2 October at 6am in The Darley, Straffan, Black BMW jeep vehicle registration number 161D was stolen from the driveway of a house without its keys.
It exited the estate and went in the direction of Maynooth.
People may have been going to work and observed this vehicle on the road driving in a dangerous manner.
