On Thursday, the 9th of December, 3 cars were entered & searched in Riverforest Estate, Leixlip at approximately 10.40am.
Gardaí are referring to it as an opportunistic crime.

Last Friday, 10th December, at approximately 6.20pm a burglary occurred in Beaufield Green area of Maynooth.
3 male intruders were disturbed by the homeowner - the intruders then fled.
Damaged was caused, but no property was taken.
A second burglary in Maynooth occurred on Monday, 13th December, in the Mariavilla Wood estate, between 9am & 2.30pm.
Entry was gained by breaking a rear window & rooms in the house were ransacked.

In the Ballymakealy Grove Estate, Celbridge, a living room window of a house was smashed with a rock, at approximately 5.30am, on Sunday 12th December.

In Naas, the theft of tools from a vehicle occurred between 6.30pm on Friday evening, & 8.40am Saturday morning.
The van, a white Ford Transit was parked in The Mews, Whitethorn estate in the town.
On Wednesday, 8th December between 6am & 7pm a rear door of a Monread Heights house was smashed, & entry was gained.
The house was ransacked with a large amount of jewellery taken.
