The figure from the Department of Housing includes 4,958 children who are growing up in B&Bs and hotels.
The total is 11% higher than last year.
In the last week of June 2025, 165 adults were homeless in Kildare - the same number as the month previous.
292 adults were homeless in Meath, with the figure standing at 86 in Wicklow.
The data doesn't include rough sleepers, women in refuge centres, asylum seekers, refugees or the so-called 'hidden homeless'.
