Kildare Joint Policing Committee annual public meeting will be held online this evening.
Garda Commissioner Drew Harris will be one of the guest speakers at the event, alongside others who will highlight supports available to victims of domestic abuse.
According to Kildare County Council, "The Kildare Joint Policing Committee provides a forum where Local Authority and senior Garda Officers responsible for the policing in Kildare, with the participation of Oireachtas members and community interests, can consult, discuss, and make recommendations on matters affecting policing in Kildare."
