However, the motion was meant to be brought forward by Kildare South Labour TD Mark Wall, who was unable to make it into the chamber.

A Labour party motion on congestion today was slightly disrupted because a TD was caught in traffic.

The party brought forward a Private Member's Motion on Flexible Work and Commuter Delays to Leinster House earlier.

However, the motion was meant to be brought forward by Kildare South Labour TD Mark Wall, who was unable to make it into the chamber.

His colleague Ciaran Ahern stepped into the breach in his place.

Speaking on Kildare Today this morning, presenter Hannah Kelly asked Deputy Wall if he was able to make it to the Dail on time.
