Aisling McNiffe has called on NIAC to approve a vaccine in Ireland for vulnerable children before September

A Kildare mother says vulnerable children who have missed school since March 2020 must be considered for vaccination before the next academic year begins.

That's according to Aisling NcNiffee, who lives in Ardclough, and is a full-time carer for her 15-year-old son, Jack.

Jack is non-verbal, has complex medical needs and is immuno-suppressed.

Aisling, speaking to South East Radio, called on NIAC to approve a vaccine in Ireland for vulnerable children before September
