Higher Education Minister and Kildare North TD James Lawless has confirmed he's looking to end the use of student accommodation for refugees.
It had been reported this morning that the previous Education Minister wanted beds to be freed up for September.
Reports suggest there are about 1,800 Ukrainian refugees currently living in student blocks.
