Kildare North TD Rejects Call To Let Learners Drive Alone

The current average wait time is around 6 months, but the RSA has committed to reducing it to 10 weeks by September.

Learner drivers should be allowed drive without a fully licensed person in the car, according to a Fianna Fáil TD.

Cathal Crowe is calling for the rules to be changed, to give young people more freedom while they wait for tests.

Speaking to Kfm, Kildare North Sinn Fein TD Reada Cronin said she doesn't agree.
