Project Uisce for Gaza is working with Gaza-based Mohammed Alazzami, who is raising funds for new water pipelines and water transport in Gaza
The Kildare Palestine Solidarity Campaign (KPSC) has set up an initiative to work with a Gaza-based teacher who provides clean water to the people in Gaza.
The KPSC host solidarity events across Kildare, as part of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
Project Uisce for Gaza work with Mohammed Alazzami, a father, grandfather and teacher who is currently displaced in Khan Younis.
Israel has damaged large amounts of water infrastructure in Gaza, forcing people to walk long distances to reach the nearest water pumps.
The KPSC has launched a Go Fund Me campaign to help Mr Alazzami raise funds for new water pipelines and larger trucks to transport water to the local population.
Twenty deliveries of water have been made so far.

Speaking on this morning's Kildare Today, Fundraiser Organiser Siobhan Grogan explained that the Go Fund Me makes sure that there is enough money for water for one month.
If there is a surplus of around €4,000, Uisce For Gaza supplies a food drop which is organised by Mr Alazzami.
For the first time yesterday, a food drop of vegetables was made.
Ms Grogan spoke more on what work Uisce for Gaza does, and detailed how people can donate on this morning's Kildare Today show, which is available to listen back to here:
