A new study shows over half of people want to continue working.
People in Kildare are being encouraged to make preparations for retirement.
It follows the publication of research by Standard Life, which says 52 percent of people want to continue working when the reach retirement, even if they're financially comfortable.
However, some people may have no option but to retire when they reach the mandatory age, and others may elect to take early retirement.
