With 132 female business founders currently based in the county
A new study to mark International Women’s Day has revealed Kildare to be the fifth-best county for female entrepreneurs.
The research, carried out by business energy provider Procure.ie, analysed thousands of LinkedIn profiles across Ireland, to determine which counties are leading the way for high-ranking women in business for International Women's Day today.
Kildare secured fifth place in the rankings, with 132 female business founders currently based in the county.
Other counties with the most female entrepreneurs include: Cork, Dublin, Galway and Wicklow.
