"The N7 road during rush hour is a mess," he said.
Kildare Senator Mark Wall has called for an emergency vehicle to be on standby during rush hour on the N7 road from Kildare to Dublin.
Highlighting "chronic congestion" caused by minor accidents, Wall emphasised the daily disruptions, with delays sometimes lasting up to two hours, impacting work attendance and crucial medical appointments.
"The N7 road during rush hour is a mess. Minor accidents turn it into a parking lot, causing frustration and substantial delays," he said.
He added: "This can't continue. We need an emergency vehicle on standby during working hours, especially on the N7, to quickly clear accidents and keep traffic moving."
