Almost €19 million was raised in parking fees last year

There are calls for hospital car park fees to be reduced - or even abolished.

Almost 19 million euro was raised from parking fees at public hospitals last year.

Seven hospitals took in over a million euro - while Cork University Hospital had the biggest takings at over 2 million euro.
