Among the changes, Superintendent Georgina Gray - who had been serving in Kildare North - has been transferred to the Garda National Protective Services Bureau, where she will take on detective duties.
A senior Garda previously based in Kildare North has been promoted as part of a series of new appointments across the force.
An Garda Síochána confirmed today that the latest allocations of Superintendents took effect from October 29th.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Irene Campbell has been promoted and assigned to Leixlip Garda Station.
She will now lead the Kildare North Community Engagement Functional Area within the Kildare/Carlow Division.
Other appointments announced include:
Superintendent Ronan Carey to Special Tactics and Operational Command.
Detective Superintendent Thomas Lynch to the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Superintendent Katherina Joyce to the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
Superintendent Jonathan Hayes to Blanchardstown Garda Station in DMR West.
The appointments form part of An Garda Síochána’s latest round of senior operational reassignments.
