6 Kildare towns and villages are involved in the scheme.
Today is the last day on which applications will be accepted from 6 Kildare towns and villages included in the Streetscape Enhancement Initiative.
It means firms & in Sallins, Castledermot, Ballitore, Kilcock, Monasterevin and Rathangan can apply for ring-fenced funding to improve road facing facades.
Grants of up to €8,000, are available and, nationally, 124 towns & villages are included in the scheme.
Applications are being accepted until 2pm this afternoon.
